Parish Mission

aint Stephen of Hungary Parish has been commissioned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Allentown, Pennsylvania to serve multiple roles and as such stands in living testament to the Christian principle of “One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism.”

Saint Stephen’s has a proud heritage having been founded by Hungarian immigrants almost 100 years ago and to this day continues to serve the Hungarian-American faithful.

The Diocese of Allentown has also established Saint Stephen’s as the Diocesan site for the celebration of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite; also known as the Traditional Latin Mass, or the Tridentine Rite.

Saint Stephen’s is also the Diocesan Headquarters for the Secretariat of Catholic Life and Evangelization – Office of Prison Ministry.
